Friday, March 12 - Fundraiser at Expressly Expresso a Great Success!

Despite the loss of our ability to serve beer (due to objections by a faith-based organization) our second fundraiser, held March 12 at Expressly Expresso, was a great success!

The imending thunderstorms and rain didn't stop over 100 people from seeing what NGCI was up to. A silent auction, loads of door prizes, live entertainment and free food inspired people to help support our cause. Over $1000 was raised!

A huge thank you to all the sponsors that donated silent auction items, the Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce, and especially Expressly Expresso, who risked letting us use his place!

Get-Together a Good Networking Opportunity

We were happy to be part of the "IN" crowd with Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce at Salsas. It was a great chance to meet and network. Everyone enjoyed the Mexican food and were enthusiastic about NGCI's plans for The Page.

Jan. 21 - Our First Fund Raiser Successful!

Our first official fundraiser was held at Cafe Monet at the Dayton Art Institute January 21, 2010. Despite the bad weather and being mid-week it was a great success! Contributors were generous, and most importantly, there was a very supportive outpouring of community support voiced at the reception.

The Riverside Chamber of Commerce has especially been very enthusiatic and helpful. Stay tuned for our next benefit to be held in Riverside in early March.
