Linda Leas

Linda Leas

Interim Director / Treasurer / Programming Committee

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio State University, and a lifetime of being a "cinemaphile," Linda is well equipped in her roles as Treasurer for NCGI and member of the Programming Committee. Her work experience includes Ohio State University, Victoria Theatre Association, and the City of Dayton. Other interests include animal protection, fine arts, historic preservation, public transportation, and environmental protection. She has had a long standing dream that the Dayton area would some day have a repertory cinema. Her favorite genre is "film noir" and she hopes The Page will offer something for everyone!

Grants Writer / Development

Robin Claspill is a real estate agent for Domescik Realty in Dayton, Ohio. Robin brings her expertise of fundraising and grant writing to NGCI, as well as her enthusiasm for The Page project..

Larry Thomas

Larry Thomas

Film Booker / Chairman of the Programming Committee

Larry Thomas has been involved in the movie business for decades, as both a film booker and theatre owner. He was the primary force behind The Movies Repertory Cinema in Cincinnati from 1980-1991, and was also involved in the building of The Dayton Movies (now the Neon Movies). He currently books films for 33 screens in 9 states, and also works for Cincinnati Public Radio (WGUC, WVXU, WMUB).

Jack Oberleitner

Jack Oberleitner

Theatrical Consultant

The son of Austrian parents, Jack came to Ohio via Western and Central Pennsylvania. He literally grew up midst music, theatre and cinema getting his first job in a theatre in 1959 at the tender age of 15. His educational background includes the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University. Jack paid for his education while working for the Pittsburgh-based Associated Theatres. He later went on to own his own theatre chains (The Cinestage Group and Holiday Entertainment) throughout central and western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Throughout his long career he has been involved in numerous theatrical renovations, is the author of seven books and numerous newspaper and magazine articles. He co-founded AIMS International Marketing Services, a foreign language publisher and distributor. Jack hosted a public radio show, "Footlight Parade," for six years. His passions are film, theatre, wine, travel and music. He is semi-retired and is a current or past Board member of several charitable organizations including the American Council of the Blind - Ohio.
